RAINBOW’s Regenerative Medicine - HUNS001

Supply System via Central CPC

Patients undergo bone marrow harvesting at hospitals in various regions (depicted as Ⓐ on the diagram). The harvested bone marrow is transported to a Central Cell Processing Center (CPC) (depicted as Ⓑ), where cell cultivation begins. After 3 to 4 weeks, the product is manufactured and transported from the Central CPC to Local CPCs (depicted as Ⓒ) in each region. At the Local CPCs, cells are washed, packed into containers, and shipped to nearby affiliated hospitals on the same day. Upon receiving the product, affiliated hospitals perform targeted intracerebral cell transplantation on patients the same day.

By establishing a network that includes a university hospital hub with Local CPCs, regional core hospitals, and comprehensive stroke centers, we can address the stagnant growth in the number of facilities capable of implementing the procedure after regulatory approval.
